1. What is a Clause? A clause is a group of words that contains a subject (who/what the sentence is about) and a predicate (the verb and the rest of the information about the subject). Example: She sings well. Subject = She Predicate = sings well 2. Difference between Clause and Phrase Clause : has both a subject and a predicate. Phrase : is just a group of words without both subject and predicate.
